Amazon rain forest

well it was a rain forest, very cold and wet, a rare cold front from Argentinia came across causing temps to be at 6-8 c.
however though many things were hiding from the cold we did see a good few things, and the trip interesting.
The trip to our lodge took an hour drive from airport then 3 hours on boat, we were welcomed with a much needed hot chocolate then went and found our rooms, which were big and open.
After dinner we went on a walk in the dark finding scorpian spiders and other bugs.
Next morning after an early wake up call 5.45 we a breakfast then at 8 we went on a walk through the jungle to a 40 metre high tower, (lots of steps) good view though it was rainy and windy, but not many birds. We then carried on to a lake where we jumped in a long boat saw bats on a log, and fed the pirana.
We then walked to see the big trees where Roy became Tarzan and climbed the vine.
Back to lodge for lunch and rest.
In the afternoon we visited a farm where there were banana, orange, mango, star fruit and loads other trees. We saw saddleback monkeys and another type, humming bird etc. W drank coconut milk, chewed on sugar cane, too many things to note
After a lovely dinner again we went out to look for caiman, we saw a feww babies and one about 1.5 mtrs long. that was a fun boat ride in the dark
